Sports & Community Association

The modern brick-built Pavilion sited on King George's Field (Fulmer) at the Recreation Ground was completed in May 2003, alongside an improved playing field with a newly fitted underground drainage system. These excellent facilities provide Fulmer Village and local communities with superb opportunities for sporting, social and recreational activities.

Current Clubs using the site include:

In addition, current community groups involved in the FSCA include the Brownies, Scouts (Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers), Fulmer Infant School, Beehive & Honeycomb Nursery, Conservation Volunteers, Allotment holders, Fulmer Parish Council, Fulmer Village Hall, Teikyo Foundation, South Bucks Riding for Disabled, The Black Horse pub and organisers for the annual Fulmer Day and Fulmer Family Activity Day. Representatives from each attend the FSCA Community sub committee meetings held three times a year.

The Pavilion and playing field are also available for private and corporate hire for all types of social events; garden parties, birthday and/or anniversary celebrations, quiz nights, wedding receptions, Christmas parties and much more. Regular evening bookings would be most welcome, as would a daytime term-time booking for a Nursery, Crèche or Kindergarten.

A large and modern kitchen provides excellent catering facilities with an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, with basic crockery and cutlery. Changing Rooms and showers are available for sporting events and a licensed bar may be organised through the Fulmer Sports and Community Association. The Car Park takes around 30 vehicles, with further parking being available off-site. There are swings, a large climbing frame, a secure playground for younger children, and a picnic area and large barbeque for use in dry weather!
